Post-Interview

This section provides specific guidance for what actions should follow an interview, such as follow-up letters or e-mails, and whether or when to ask if decisions have been made about the open position. Below is a brief excerpt from this section:

Just after the interview and once outside of the interview premises, it is advisable to make some personal notes on the main ideas and information that you presented and obtained during the interview. This will not only allow you to remember all the specific conditions of the job and the names of the interviewers, but also to reflect on how to improve your skills for any potential future interview.

After the interview, it is acceptable to follow up with a phone call and an email to the main interviewer. Avoid calling first thing in the morning and try to make only one phone call after the selection time period has passed.

This is just a brief sample of the extensive information in the GoinGlobal Spain Career Guide, which is carefully researched and regularly updated by local career experts.
