The principal foundation of the association is that entrepreneurial activity leads to economic health and progress. To this purpose, Confindustria lobbies European, Italian and local governments and agencies to finance projects and studies on economic and business issues. Confindustria owns and operates the major financial newspaper and radio station, Sole 24 Ore.
