Koreans, like their Chinese counterparts, believe in the concept of jeong. As explained throughout this guide, this term does not have a literal meaning, but could be understood to mean ‘compassion’ or ‘deep friendship.’ If one can gain the trust of the Koreans and develop a sense of jeong with them, the chances for success increase significantly.
