The Norwegian Accounting Standards Board (NRS) issues accounting standards.
Norways accounting standards are in general more lenient than those
of many other countries. Both the balance sheet and the income statement
are required from reporting companies, but the cash flow statement is
only required for large companies. Norwegian companies are, however, required
to disclose their accounting policies, segmental reporting, accounting
changes, and unusual gains and losses.
Finansnæringens Hovedorganisasjon
(FNH; Norwegian Financial Services Association)
The Norwegian Bankers Association and the Norwegian Insurance Association
have joined forces in a new joint industry organization under the name
Norwegian Financial Services Association (FNH).
This is just a sample of what you'll find in the complete guide.
