Steve McKinney is the CEO and founder of McKinney Consulting, a growing executive search and human resources consulting firm in Seoul. Steve has spent nine of the last twelve years working in Korea at executive levels for sporting goods industry giants Adidas and Reebok, both in the USA and globally. He has spent the past three and a half years focusing on the executive search field, working with Fortune 500 companies to place bilingual middle- to senior-level executives in various industries and implement various human resources programs.

In addition, Steve has served over three years as co-chair of the Living in Korea Committee of AMCHAM, one of its most active committees. Steve is active in various other AMCHAM committees and is a frequent contributor to the AMCHAM Journal and KoreaÍs major English daily newspapers and magazines. He is also a guest lecturer and career counselor.

Steve has a B.M.ed. from Mars Hill College in North Carolina and has studied toward his MBA at Washington University. Steve and his wife Chong-ok have two boys. The younger attends Seoul Foreign School and the older is enrolled at the University of Maryland.
