   :: Work Permits/ Visa

Excerpted from the Brazil Career Guide

Brazil has a large number of diplomatic missions worldwide. However, visa processing times can be lengthy in some instances. An applicant should plan on working with the Brazilian embassy or consulate nearest his or her home. Depending on the type of visa needed, nationality and location of application, a visa may cost hundreds of dollars and could take weeks to process. Some diplomatic missions accept mail-in visa applications but none offer rush service, so it is advisable to begin the application process several weeks prior to one’s planned departure.

This is just a sample of what you'll find in the complete Brazil guide.
