The Australian government reports that
IT employment is strong, forecasting a positive outlook through 2010
for IT positions including account managers, consultants, business
analysts, development managers and project managers. Manpower found
similar results in its survey of employer hiring intentions. IT is
second in the list of sixteen industries– with 40 percent of
employers expressing plans to hire IT workers. Likewise recruiter
Olivier Group found 13,549 out of a total 107,227 jobs advertised on
various commercial job sites were for IT positions.
