The HRDC website is in French and English, and it is linked to the
national job bank in Toronto and Montreal and other cities, which contains a large database of employment
opportunities, and to the electronic labor exchange.
Workopolis.com
Workopolis is the largest Canada-based online job site
and currently offers more than 31,000 jobs daily in Toronto and Montreal
and other cities. The site has a
comprehensive job-search engine, allowing a job seeker to search by
category, industry, location, posting date, and keyword. Workopolis also
provides useful monthly articles about Canadian career-related issues.
There are a few thousand of these articles archived in a free searchable
database. Users also have the opportunity to ask Workopolis career
advisors about subjects ranging from interviews to salaries. Workopolis is
offered in French and English.
